With a capacity for just over 17.00 spectators, immortalized in length and short films, last weekend we went to the Hollywood Bowl<\/strong> of Los Angeles, California, to witness a return that we were excited to witness. 13 years have passed since their last album, which does not make A Perfect Circle<\/strong> do not keep calling the masses.<\/p>\n

With the famous Hollywood sign as background, the Hollywood Bowl<\/strong> stage hosted Billy Howerdel, Maynard James Keenan, James Iha, Jeff Friedl and Matt McJunkins, current alignment of A Perfect Circle<\/strong> that was in charge of reviving the most climactic years of the band .<\/p>\n

With its stage adorned by curtains and some screens, the show began with \u00abThe Package\u00bb, \u00abThe Hollow\u00bb and \u00abThe Noose\u00bb. Among the melodies that were a pleasant surprise, stand out for themselves the versions of \u00abImagine\u00bb by John Lennon<\/strong> and \u00abPeople are people\u00bb of Depeche Mode<\/strong>, as well as the always emotional \u00abThe Outsider\u00bb, \u00abVanishing\u00bb, \u00abWeak and Powerless \u00aband\u00bb Magdalena \u00ab. Of course, perhaps the great absentee was his greatest success \u00abJudith\u00bb, which did not make the show disrepute either.<\/p>\n

In the current political stridency, in a city as full of Latinos as Los Angeles, there was no lack of mention of how musicians have an obligation to raise their voices against injustice. Music, at least as catharsis, fulfilled its purpose.<\/p>\n

With \u00abFeathers\u00bb, his latest single, A Perfect Circle<\/strong> closed a dreamy night. First evening, we hope, of many that we can attest at the Hollywood Bowl<\/strong> of Los Angeles, California, in the United States.<\/p>\n
